Meeting people isn’t difficult. I use meetup. com. The app is free and easy to use. Most of the groups are free, and the ones that aren’t are very affordable.
Making friends is harder. I’m old. Remember being a kid and you could start the day without a friend in the world. By lunchtime you had a friend just because you both like green. By dinner time you used ketchup packets to seal your bond as “blood brothers”. Ell oh ell!
