Depends on how much I trust my significant other to not emotionally cheat.

Also, I don't try to police my significant other. If she wants to break the boundaries then she knows the ramifications of that action. I extend trust because there isn't enough time in the day for me to be chasing her to make sure she stays faithful.

To me emotional cheating is worse than physically cheating because true intimacy is emotional not physical and true intimacy is what I am after in my romantic relationships.

I've never cheated on a girlfriend or my wife. But my wife knows 100% if she went down that road I would have zero problems getting some hot female friends. Yes, I would. My girlfriend and I do not have close friends of the opposite sex. We talk to casual friends of the opposite sex, but maintain some distance. I don't believe she would ever cheat, but it's more about making it clear to other guys that I am special to her, and I'm the most important guy in her life.
