You're welcome.. it wasn't meant as a trick. (plan was an ill conceived word) experiment would be more apt.. as in trying to see where the fascination originated from so we could get closer to answering your initial question.

I'm purely hetero so I may not understand fully, but you like guys not women, therefore is it possible you don't see the idea of witches as women, but as a totally separate entity?

It was a convoluted way of doing so I grant you, but yes. The thing that confused me was the attraction to white witches, as opposed to both. I have a theory about that too. BUT, I could be very much away from the mark, to which I apologise in advance for.

We all know that if you believe in witchcraft then there are white/ dark witches. and white is meant for good and dark being opposite. Here's where i may be crossing the line (not intentionally)
You're gay so it's likely you faced a lot of prejudice growing up. Maybe you see white witches as 'friends' or a way to escape to a reality where you were not subjected to those prejudices, and Dark magic you see as society not accepting you?
Like I aid I could be WAY off and I do apologise if I have made presumptions that crossed a line.
