Me and my boyfriend have been on and off for the past 4 years The last time we broke up, we decided to be friends for a little while before we got back together. We are back together now but I told him if we broke up again we would be done for good because I’m tired of the on and off relationship and I feel like our relationship won’t have any progress if we keep being on and off and I also gave him a six month time limit for us to get engaged move back in together and to start trying for a baby I’m really tired of waiting for things to happen am I being too pushy and should I just let things happen naturally

This tells me that the LAST thing you need to do is have a baby until you two get your shit together - especially you. There's a good reason why previous generations didn't have kids until the parents were married or, if they did get pregnant, then got married. So, don't just shack up and become a baby machine. You two need to decide on a future path and not just "are we or aren't we a couple". You make sure that you are a COMMITTED (as in marriage) couple with agreed upon plans and goals. Once you're significantly down the Yellow Brick Road of your plans (which means you better be married by then), THEN you have a baby.
