Obviously you don't realize it in the beginning and it's much later when feelings were invested for over a period of time.
If they were a legitimate narcissist, can they still healed and be cured from that? Can things worked out?

No, no, no, no, no
Run, Run as far as you can
Narcissists don't know what they do; they won't stop; they will not go to Therapy... nothing. They will continue till you are destroyed.
Sorry... maybe a bit to extreme my 'opinion'... but I have lived with a Narcissist for 11 years hoping she would change. She didn't. She has completely and utterly destroyed me and pushed me to suicide. I don't want to see this happening to anyone else!
They are not evil beings, as some people like to claim; They are not Sociopaths... or even Psychopaths.. who get enjoyment/ pleasure out of what they do.
But Narcissism is a 'Personality Disorder', they don't know what they do... they do not know how to care about someone else... they cannot be cured from that.
I'm sorry to hear about your horrible relationship with a narcissist. Yeah they seem to be stuck in their own world and really think what they're doing is right. I guess they'll never understand how wrong they are nor the ways they're harming others.
They will always deny everything, and another favourite thing they do is projecting. They will project their faults, mistakes, bad traits, etc onto you pretending you are the bad one.
They cause drama even if you do them slightly wrong, but they will tell you "WTF are you complaining about when they do something wrong".
They think they are normal, and because everyone else is normal they will have to be the same as the Narcissist; that's generally why Narcissists are so suspicious of everything and everyone. They often don't trust people because they do not trust themselves. No matter how confident a Narcissist may appear, they are very insecure beings.
Excuses, even if you do get one, are always insincere.
Narcissists stay Narcissists. Best case scenario is they realize they are one and want to change but that usually doesn't happen.
Omg no, there isn't any cure nor help for them. They will end up thinking everyone is the problem and have little empathy towards others. If you or someone else is with a narcissist, run. Don't just walk, run towards the exit door and block them. They are nothing but poison towards your mental health.
My first ex boyfriend was a narcissist. It was terrible experience.
No. The problem with narcissist is that they don’t see it and never will. They believe that all the problems in their life is a result of others. Just like an incel will never realize his problem is him a narcissist will never see themself as the problem.
Is your partner a narcissist?
Nope, that was just a general question. I've heard of people of both genders involved with a narcissist and suffering in the end.
Navigating the stormy seas of love with a narcissist at the helm? Oh, it's a whirlwind romance filled with highs and lows. Now, speaking of curing narcissism - imagine trying to repaint a masterpiece. It's not about slapping on a new color but understanding the original strokes. True narcissism, especially if we're talking NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), isn't a cold you can simply get over. It's woven into the fabric of their being.
However, don't lose heart! Change is possible, but it's like asking a cat to bark – it requires a whole lot of patience, professional guidance, and a genuine desire from the narcissist to transform. Love can conquer many things, but in this case, love needs an ally in therapy. Be prepared for a journey that's more marathon than sprint, with professional support as your running mate. Remember, it's not just about saving them but also safeguarding your happiness and well-being along the way. Let's keep the love, but maybe adjust the lens through which we view change. 🌈💘

Nope. That's a core trait that will keep resurfacing even if the person tries to repress it temporarily. Either accept it or leave.
narcissism is a personality trait. not something you can really change, and not like they have the awareness that they are narcissists in the first place. nor do they care that they are
if they do actually work at it, they can only reduce it. not completely get rid of their narcissist traits
That’s just it. They don’t see themselves having a problem. Everyone else has the problem. That’s part of the narcissism.
Curing a narcissist? Good luck with that one
The only person you have any chance of changing is yourself. If he wants change he would need professional help from a psychiatrist.
