I have a family member where I'm banging my head against the wall trying to develop a healthy relationship with. I have to "walk on eggshells" when I'm around him because I'm afraid I'll say something or do something that will cause him to get really mad and yell. It seems like I can't do anything right.
This relationship means a lot to me and I went to see a therapist. After explaining everything, she said he is a Narcissist and I'm a Codependent. As I'm learning about this I'm forced to break off the relationship.

I would never put myself through that I am an introvert an Empath I love my quiet time everything that happens to me in life there's a reason for it and for me to understand that reason I need quiet peaceful beautiful things weird things I things different things I don't need loud things in my life because I'm focused I tried to be on everything except for things that make waste my time asking myself why this person is like this I don't even care just keep on moving
I think my kid was 5 years old we are sitting out on the porch one day the TV was on you can hear it the news was on and it started talking about this man that brutally killed this woman and my son says Dad how come God put people like him on this planet to do things like that and even just looking into my eyes the only thing I can think of in that moment. Was to tell him I don't really know why the only thing that I can think of is to teach us who we don't want to be in life I told him everyday that he grows and they get smarter you're going to see people do crazy things I said pay attention to them because those are the people you don't want to be like

Have you ever had a good friend or family member start hanging out with somebody new
and within three days to a week. You start to hear them talk just like this person I start using the same type of body language and mannerisms
I'm sure that we all know somebody who is themselves one day and then the next week later they start talking and he sounds just like the Kardashian girls and you just look at it and say what the fuck. You're kidding me
So what I think I'm trying to say is are you trying to learn something from this guy are you in love with this guy I mean do you honestly see yourself with this guy in another year to two years I mean you already talking about going to see the psychiatrist and therapist what is your reason for wanting to go through all this you already know all the answers that I just asked but will you be honest about the answers that you know to be honest it's none of my business but I just hate seeing you go through something that is painful and agitating and whatever you're needing or wanting to learn for something is coming up in your life is pretty big if you want to put yourself through this
I say good luck and how much time do you think it's going to take you to defrag yourself if something does go wrong
if they seem to get along.. is because you get to see the part in which they're acting or pretending... or hiding the actual struggle and the problems that will go with it
and that goes the same way for any other problematic couples, that are no narcissistic but they're still in very toxic relationships that they just hide very well for some time, to the eyes of others
