Isn't it very rude for my ex boyfriend to still be asking for a friendship when I'm engaged?

He's been blocked since Oct 2021. I'm already engaged and the documents for our marriage have just arrived 2 days ago.

He sent a text on my WhatsApp from another new number and likely by someone's else cell since I've set my profile on private. He still finds ways to still try contacting me.

Yesterday it was a "We can befriends if you want to" message. I called an online stalking loser and blocked him. Isn't it very rude what he's doing. I'm already engaged. What business does he have asking me for a friendship? Why would anyone want to remain friends with an ex, esp if they're going to marry someone else?
