There’s a difference. I think in general all people want others to want their significant other, but when your significant other shows an interest back, that’s when it becomes a problem And can make even the most comparison person ever feel uneasy and jealous.
Jealousy comes from the fear of possibly losing someone. Therefore where there is zero jealous it tends to be because the person doesn’t actually feel too strongly about you. Even the most secure person can feel jealousy if their partner is the one showing interest in someone else and that is because they fear to lose you.

I personally love to see others see that my partner is super attractive and be jealous of me and want what I have. That’s a good feeling to me.
HOWEVER, if he looks at other women it can make me feel bad. I don’t mind glances here and there, there’s always going to be more or less attractive women out there. It’s fine.

She is not jealous, I just don’t feel comfortable flirting with other women / having other women flirting with me. I am in a relationship that doesn’t mean I can’t talk to other women in a friendly & kind way, though I don’t flirt.
