When you're in a relationship, how important is it for your partner to show affection in public?

Like holding hands, cuddling, kissing, etc?

I know fully snogging can be a bit gross for other people nearby - I'm talking more just about general affection.

It’s important but it’s also important to know where to draw the line to.

for instance don’t be sitting there heavily making out on a park bench in view of everyone no one wants to see that.

but a passionate but quick kiss, hand holding, arm around the waist a smack on the ass etc things like that are fine.
