How important is it to be affectionate with your partner in public?

Just what makes you think other people are fascinated by your private lives and loves? Some things are not for public consumption. If you absolutely HAVE to make out in public, or worse, maybe you have some kind of exhibitionist tendencies, our you want to prove to the world that you finally "got somebody," as if the world cares! Some things are private and should stay that way. I don't need to see to people slobbering all over each other. And I'm SURE not interested in seeing two people in public having sex! Have a little dignity, a littler respect for other people. The world is really not all about you!

It's not. In Japan, PDA is actually discouraged. They're highly respectful of others in public. And I, who has always lived in Canada have always resonated with that notion. I've never been comfortable with PDA. A hug is fine and a peck on the cheeks or lips is fine. But no full-on making out. In my opinion, there's a time and place for that.

Most people don't like PDA. They are private and prefer their partner to show them affection when they're also but there are some people who actually feel more loved it their partner show them affection in public. So, I guess, it all depends on the individual.

I dont show much public affections. We flirt like a couple of middle schoolers bumping each other and holding hands i suppose. But we don't really kiss in public unless there is more of a reason like we are watching fireworks on new years. My girl is very modest she's not the kind of women that wears provocative clothing. She has an energy that people naturally respect. She's not the kinda women who would want her butt smacked in front of people if you know what I mean. Lol

I'm extrovert and attractive, I don't have any problem being affectionate in public. Dancing a while in revealing outfit, causing erections, then going and putting my tongue in mouth of my partner. It's the best way to causing a fight between your partner and guy who is desperate enough to challenge him.

In Thailand it is considered rude to kiss and cuddle in public. They are far more considerate for those who are poor, lonely, disabled and so on. They dont want to encouridge showing off. Its not a law, its just in the culture!

I'm not big on PDA. At most my girlfriend and I will hug and say "I love you" to each other. Usually nothing more than that. The hugs are good deal more affectionate than hugs I would give family.
