I live with my fiance and I unexpectedly became pregnant. I must be about 6 weeks now. We don’t know whether to keep it or not. I haven’t told my mom yet and I’m scared of her reaction. Should I tell her or not?
1 yIf you mean keeping it as in adoption then that’s between you but if you mean killing your own child out or being a coward. That’s your baby that you made together, how dare you consider killing it because you’re worried what your mother will think. You’re a grown ass woman and maybe you’re a failure in life if you didn’t even listen to your own morher. Wow, If your mother would be upset with you having a baby outside of wedlock with your own fiancé imagine how she would feel if she knew you killed her grand baby.
You’re adults who consensually had sex with one another. You may place the baby for adoption (I don’t wanna hear how the adoption system is bad, it’s just like advocating for euthanizing foster kids for their own good shut up) or raise the baby.
What you tell your mom is your choice I don’t care what you tell her. I think she at least tried to raise you right but that baby loves you and loves daddy. If you want to be selfish and kill your own child you’ll both live with this the rest of your life and in the afterlife. You’ll never be able to sleep at night. You’ll have nightmares. Unless you’re just a heartless narcissist or even psychopath. You’ll never live it down.
I can understand being scared and that’s fine but don’t be cowards. You made this baby figure it out….. You don’t just get to focus on yourselves anymore. If that’s what you wanted. You should have gotten your tubes tied or for him his tube snipped.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yHonestly you need to own up to that responsibility. You two most likely didn’t use protection, so that’s on you as far as be responsible. I don’t think an abortion is appropriate. In cases of rape ok I could see that as an option. Also in cases where it means the mother could die I’d be ok w that. But simply for the fact that you two weren’t responsible, no. Especially you. You knew it was a possibility and you let him still have it w out using protection. You’re an adult. According to the law and according to yourself as well since you have a finance. Own up to it.

1 yYou are already an adult and you got pregnant from your boyfriend. Do not kill the child, marry him and save the pregnancy. There are so many girls and women who dream of giving birth, but cannot...
And yes, be sure to share with your mother, she certainly does not wish you harm. She is also a ball at such an age as you

1 yYou are 23, yet scared what your mom will say because you are pego from your fiance? Better grow the fuck up and make a decision.. only tell her if you are keeping it, if not keep it to yourself.

Navigating the high seas of surprise pregnancy news with your mom can feel more daunting than deciding what movie to watch on date night. Take a deep breath and remember, this is your life script, and you're the star alongside your fiancé. Sharing news about a new little co-star can be nerve-racking, but honesty is often the best policy. Your mom's initial reaction might be a Hollywood-worthy plot twist, but give her time. She might just surprise you with a support role that outshines your expectations. And about keeping the baby? Lean in close and listen to your hearts, together. This decision is your shared scene, so make sure it reflects both of your desires and capacities. Whatever you decide, make it about love, the kind that writes the best stories. 🌟

1 yYou live with your FIANCEE. He's not just a boyfriend. He's your fiancee. You do NOT live with your mom. What's the big deal?
If you guys are living together fine, I'm sure you can figure out how to handle one more mouth. I don't get why your mom would be upset. You're an adult that's independent.10 Reply- 3.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
1 yI'd tell and I'd keep it, but that's me. I don't know your world. I would not terminate a child with a fiance, that sounds so wrong. How you recover from that? no!
What is the root problem here... it isn't pregnant, that is a blessing to reproduce. That's how you got here. Financial, shame, (can't have a white wedding)?
I'd throw the whole wedding in the trash can, go sign papers and get married, commit to love, listen, work together and solve the problems presented... there's always problems. All money saved in wedding goes to childs education, housing, vaca.

1 yYou're living on your own, and you're marrying him anyway! So why be worried? You're case is one of the best case scenarios as far as surprise pregnancies go. Just plan calmly and think critically whatever you do.

You had sex, what did you think would happen?
All it takes is 1 strong swimmer and ta da!00 Replyonly tell her if you're planning on going through with the pregnancy and if she's angry about that so what? you're an adult, you can do whatever you want

m 1 yYour mom is your least concern in your priority chain, aborting or keeping is the only issue to solve with your guy. Your mom will adapt, she is older than you.

1 yyou are a grown adult your mother has no right to be mad it is your body not hers. if you want a baby and feel you are ready then have it. it is not your mothers business
00 Reply875 opinions shared on Relationships topic. She must know that you live with him, so she expects there is a lot of sex. So why should she be surprised or mad?

m 1 yYes you should tell her, however unexpectedly becoming pregnant only happens when a girl is on birth control.

1 yMarriage is for creating families. If your mom has a problem with this then she is fucked in the head. It's not like you are going to be a baby momma, assuming you don't do something stupid like break off the engagement.
00 Reply 638 opinions shared on Relationships topic. You're an adult, not a minor. You're living with your fiance. She might be disappointed that you're not married but she'll get over it. Believe me, I know. My wife and I were in your position years ago.
