Me and my boyfriend have been together 2 years. He was acting strangely 2 months ago, he told me he was going 3 and a half away for business at work. I started getting bad gut feelings. He wouldn't text me, nor call , nor FaceTime which he always usually asks to. He only went once for 2 days.

2 weeks ago I found out my gut feeling was right, he actually went there to visit a girl he met on instagram.. I was heartbroken. I messaged her telling her everything and it seems she was heartbroken too and she said he was selling her dreams.

He keeps saying sorry and how he’ll never do it again and to give him a chance, he’s said he’ll never go there again and see her and he said he was going to tell me at some point before I found out. He hasn’t been there in a while now but he’s saying ‘trust me I was going to tell you I’m so sorry I feel so guilty I’m never going there again, I’ve chosen you over her it will always be I’ Is he only choosing me though because I’ve found out? Is he only not going over there because I found out or could this be geniune? Is he only not talking to her now because I know or do u think he could have been sad it was hurting me?

If he had chosen you over her in the first place, he wouldn't have gone across that far just to see her. His words oppose his actions, literally. The relationship is now fragile, and you may continuously suffer, fearing he might repeat his past actions. Look, you have the choice to stay or leave, but that individual's behavior is likely to regress to what it was before.
If he sells dreams, don't buy a cheap one.
