What is considered cheating?

I have a girlfriend and when I’m talking to other girls from my class because we have a group project or just to chat between lessons. Is this cheating?

It's not cheating no. You talk to them, but your goal is the group project. It's not love, nothing physical.

Cheating is either doing things that you should only be doing with your girlfriend. Like making out.
Or doing things that seem normal but your GOAL is to date them. The intention behind your actions is what determines whether or not something is cheating. And your intent here is... a group project. Harmless. You're a good boyfriend, keep it that way, will you?

Cheating would be going outside of the relationship both mentally, emotionally and physically ie talking to another woman romantically because you enjoy the chase and flirting this would be emotional cheating. But talking to woman platonically and for school definetly isn't cheating

No of course not. You are doing work for school and nothing more. Do you expect her to not communicate with her group? That would be nonsense and I also bet the other group members wouldn't appreciate her not pitching in just as much as your group would think the same if you didn't talk to them. That is just a part of school. Think about all the boys/guys she runs into in daily life. Maybe the server at the restaurant is a guy and takes her order. That isn't cheating now is it? So no you are not cheating if that is what you are worried about. You are simply doing what everyone else is doing in class and that is your group work. I hope she doesn't think it is cheating and that is what prompted you to ask.

That isn't cheating either. That is having a conversation with someone. Trust me. You are not cheating.
