My relationship has had its ups and downs, but I genuinely care about her. We’ve been through some tough times together, especially with my family and my past struggles. She’s been a great support, helping me navigate all the chaos in my life.
But it hasn’t been perfect. There was that one time I caught her making plans to sleep with another guy, which really shook me. It made me question everything, especially after all we’ve been through together. I felt hurt and betrayed, and it’s been hard to shake off that feeling of insecurity.
We’ve both had our struggles, but we’ve also shared some really good moments. I want to believe we can work through this and come out stronger, but it’s tough to know if we’re on the same page. Communication is key, but it can be hard to talk about the serious stuff without it turning into a fight. Overall, I care about her and want to make it work, but I can’t ignore the challenges we face.40 Reply

1 yKind of complicated, at the moment.
I've started chatting with a lovely lady, but there's currently some stupid BS going on with her ex trying to control things. It's not as bad as it sounds. It's just a weird situation where she can't... really get rid of him because of some bureaucracy stuff with the government.
It's a whole thing, but it's genuinely not like she's at fault.

10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Thoroughly and delightfully one sided, one dimensional and straightforward -- I wait on her hand and foot, hurrying to fetch her whatever she needs at the snap of her fingers;)

1 ySingle but very… VERY sexually active

I'm very... VERY celibate lol
- 1 y
That was me literally 4 months ago, and was so for several years lol.
Till my pupils were dilated, and a version of me that I thought died many years ago has returned. - 1 y
So you're saying it's better to be sexually active than celibate?
- 1 y
Depends, I do definitely still have a high sex drive so I’m reminded why I used to have sex like crazy.
However, what I truly loved and appreciated about being celibate is
For one, I was saving money from not wining and dining women in exchange for sex.
Secondly, I don’t have to deal with the any sort of drama. Such as the possibility of feelings being caught on a non mutual level. Or say I find out I am a side dude and had no idea. - 1 y
That's true you don't have to worry about dating expenses with being celibate and you don't have to deal with feelings getting involved on a non mutual level or being a side dude. I totally see the benefits for a guy.
- 1 y
Well the thing is everyone loves sex. I know this, and it is why I never judge women for expressing their needs either.
- 1 y
Yeah but unfortunately lots of guys want a girl to have a low number. And honestly being traditional and a bit conservative, I never wanted my number to be more than 1.
- 1 y
I don’t care for that. Because well obviously that would make me a hypocrite and I cannot stand hypocrites.
In fact my last ex fucked many men before me.
My thing is simple. If I’m gonna date a girl with a high body count, I only ask that she is clean (has no STD’s) and she’s loyal.
I could understand why you’d want to keep your body count low though. It is more respectable. For me personally I am somewhat of a sex addict lol and given women do reach out to me from time to time, it just became who I am. - 1 y
Oh ok. I don't judge. I think it's totally ok to be sexual whether you're a guy or girl but I just don't personally want to be or want to date someone with many partners. That's why I'm kind of holding out for my ex because he hasn't been with that many girls and is also celibate. We have similar views on that. It's hard to find a guy who has those kind of views on sex especially these days. But I am for anyone who wants to be very sexual. Sex is healthy after all as long as you practice safe sex or is with a clean partner.

Monogamy is always better in my experience
- 1 y
It is indeed.

But 😂 I don’t think I will ever step into that realm ever again.

- 1 y

Trauma..
- 1 y
Oh understandable.
- 1 y
Yeah I’m horrified of investing into commitments again
- 1 y
Yeah I can understand that. I'm scared to start over if I can't get back with my ex.
- 1 y
Things always fall into place
- 1 y
That's true. They do.
- 1 y
Also, ex’s always come back…
Trust me lmao - 1 y
Lol I hope you're right.
- 1 y
I’m old and have had a handful of relationships they do.
Hopefully in your case he doesn’t come back to you for the reason my ex’s came back to me - 1 y
And what reason was that if you don't mind me asking?
- 1 y
Sex 💀
- 1 y
But they try to make it seem like they want to “catch up” eventually they ask if I’ve been sexually active and then after that, follow it up by proposing to meet up for coffee.
Like hmmm… I’m left sitting there connecting the dots - 1 y
Haha oh. Well I hope not in that case.
- 1 y
Ultimately it comes down to how this breakup affected him, AND his own personality in combination his experiences
- 1 y
Yeah that's true. I think it affected him significantly and he just wants to see both of us grow as people before getting back together which I wholeheartedly understand and agree with now.
- 1 y
Mm..
