Why would a wife tolerate cheating and let her daughters suffer?

You know he's been in a long term affair and so do your teenage daughters.

Noone confronts him but everyone is mad. 1 daughter doesn't speak to dad and had to go to therapy. Dad thinks it because he made them move and she lost her friends but the real reason is because of his cheating.

The wife stay at home mom is resentful but acts like everything is normal. In front of her daughters too.

Wife puts up threatening quotes to mistress on social. For years.

Has 2 or 3 quotes indirectly calling her husband a clown, immature, a liar, perspective, and patience when u have nothing attitude when u have everything.

Yet still sleeps in same bed as husband in front of daughters and acts all normal and loving. Like why not tell him to stop for their daughters mental health at the least?

Afraid he might hide money? Or doesn't want to rock her easy life boat not working.

He will be very financially secure in about 5 years.

This isn't uncommon. Hell, Hillary Clinton put up with that shit for years too. The women don't want to lose their comfort a. k. a. being in a comfort zone. They hate that the guy is cheating, but they're afraid of leaving him and going out into the unknown. Especially with kids involved. They're afraid they won't make it on their own. And maybe even afraid of what people think, even though people in their circle most likely already know about it and think she's being a fool for tolerating it.

So they put up with the shame and anguish of knowing that their husband isn't really attracted to her or doesn't find her sexually satisfying or appealing, and the shame of everyone else knowing it. They'd rather do that then be alone or struggle financially.
