Is it normal screaming and being furious that spouse refuses to follow a bathroom schedule and peed before I done?

• I take long showers. I spend at least an hour or two in their every Night. Then I properly towel off which takes a while because I want to make sure I did a good job.

I don't want anyone in there even if it's just to pee. It infringes on my private time. Spouse ignores that and doesn't care that it ruins my concentration that they pee before they burst. I need to focus.

I blew up last night and screamed at one a. m. they just peed and ignored me screaming the entire time and finally said really having a two year old tantrum at one a. m. because I peed. Spouse put on headphones and ignored me. so I was like WHAT do you think I am a monster?

Spouse totally ignored me and exercised on the pelaton and went to sleep. We slept in separate rooms. Where do we go from here?

First: all right, probably screaming at 1am is not an ADULT WAY of dealing with cohabitation issues.

Second: your spouse IGNORED you? That is also probably not the best way to handle the situation.

by the way, if they cannot hold it any longer during those two hours of your bath, are they suposed to pee on the kitchen sink? XD I mean, thats probably a situation you need to learn how to handle. There is a diferrence between "they came into the bathroom because they dont care about how i feel about that" and "they came into the bathroom because there was no other option". Spouse suggested they use a mini potty we had for her grandma. But what if spouse doesn't clean it correctly when they pee?

I think holding it or peeing at speedway or golfing it is the only option and spouse said that's ridiculous and they are not doing that

Until you find a solution, i think work is needed from both parts:
You have to accept that your spouse has the right to use their bathroom whenever they want, just like you (its their house, too), and learn to work with that (you dont need to like it, but maybe learn to tolerate it. I mean, is it so awful when they come into the bathroom? Does the world stop spinning or life goes on?)

And your spouse should try to understand how this situation makes you feel and try to respect you.

You are wasting hot water that costs money and may be more than your water heater can quickly heat to replace what you use. And why do you think it has to be "private time"? Couples share a life and the facilities of the house. A person needs to pee when they need to pee. Only an idiot would insist that they hold it for two hours. If you cannot share the bathroom then you do not belong together. It sounds like you just enjoy tormenting your spouse. Either straighten out your head or admit you cannot share a life with a spouse.

Its understandable when you don't like it, but when your spouse needs to pee he needs to pee, or do you want him peeing in the kitchen sink or the flowerpot?
