Taken from the article link above:
19th and 20th centuries
In Delaware, the age of consent was 10 years old until 1871 when it was lowered to 7 years old. Under the 1871 law, a man was given the death penalty for sex with a girl below the age of consent.[27]
In 1880, 37 states had an age of consent of 10 years, 10 states had an age of consent at 12 years, and Delaware had an age of consent of 7 years.[28][29]
In the late 19th century, a "social purity movement" composed of Christian feminist reform groups began to advocate raising the age of consent to 16, with the goal of raising it ultimately to 18 or 21.[30] By 1920, 26 states had an age of consent at 16, 21 states had an age of consent at 18, and one state (Georgia) had an age of consent at 14.[31]
Alaska was bought from the Russians in 1867 and became the 49th state of the U. S. in 1959. Its age of consent was 16 years old.
Hawaii was a constitutional monarchy until 1893, and was thereafter a U. S. Territory; it became the 50th U. S. state in 1959. Its age of consent was 14 years old.
Georgia and Hawaii both raised their age of consent from 14 to 16, in 1995 and 2001 respectively. Colorado lowered its age of consent from 18 to 15 because the age of majority there was lowered from 21 years old to 18 in 1970.
As one can been see from above the eugenics crowd along with the help of feminism have conned the laws into cooperating with a facilitating eugenics to erode humanity especially whites as whites were too eager to comply. That group behind for reasons you can not name them.

I must have misread the title I now see it's related to age differences. For that answer it's up to the individuals involved it's between them it's not up to me or for anyone else to decide.

1 yTo be honest I don't think there should be a maximum age difference, legality set aside of course. Things often just happen, and if that age difference is important, the only aspect to be considered is how long that involved relation will last, but whatever age partners have, it's up to them to decide and manage. There is always something to learn from any relationship.
My wife was 12 years older, and we met when I was 25. The difficult period started a few years before her death, but our relation was stable during the 38 years of marriage. No regrets, in spite of the 2 last years of her life. In any case, in every relation, there will be such difficult moments when one of the two partners will pass away.

1 yWhen I was young I used to date guys my own age Honestly I felt more like Jessy mom instead of his girlfriend. Listen I am wil lbs brutally honest with you. Millennial men are all momma's boy and they're not romantic. Millennial men always put mommy and siblings first before their wife , fiance , girlfriend whatever! This cought my attention how the Millennial Men's brains work they could date the most wealthy , successful beautiful top model gorgeous woman and they would not care about her. No matter the success the money or how beautiful the woman is millennial men does not care because mommy will always come first. My ex Jessy aka Justin Clark date is birth 2/15/1994 one day out of nowhere choose to break up with me like cold turkey Not giving a dam about me. JESSY HURT ME! Ok I still dated guys my own age category the truth is all millennial guys are selfs womanizers do not take commitment seriously. I was devastated disappointed after a while. It wasn't until my now husband he is 47 now. I was amazed about him how caring and loving he was with me. Mature experience and he had a mind of his own. What have I learn there are still good guys out there the problem is if a woman my age wants a good loving Christian men they won't find it in a millennial guys generation thanks to woman who decided to be single moms. My husband he is 47 and I am 31 best marriage ever. He is loving a devoted Christian who loves God and an awesome human being.

Ah, the age-old question of age gaps! 😉 My aim here is to highlight that love doesn't really care about numbers. What's key in any love story? Compatibility, shared goals, and mutual understanding. Whether it's a few years or a couple of decades, as long as both partners vibe and respect each other, age is just a number fluttering in the wind! Just keep those lovebombing and red flags in check, and let your hearts do the talking! ā¤ļø

Anonymous(36-45)1 yAge is not always the best indicator of maturity.
Theoretically it should be. As you get older your brain (usually) changes to make more mature decisions. Your peers and circle of friends change as well. If you are man they really shrink after 30 (different topic). Also life experience usually knocks sense into people. But some people never learn no matter how many hard lessons theyāve had.
Anyway Iāve been shocked in both directions on this. I had a grown ass woman in her late 30s disrespect me in front of my family years ago. I wonāt go into detail but it was absolutely insane.
What she said was so ridiculous and insulting that I long questioned myself that I was somehow misreading the incident. But I didnāt. Insanely selfish and immature.
Then more recently I had a young woman in her early 20s demonstrate honesty and respect I havenāt seen in years. Even decades. I wonāt go into details but I was absolutely shocked given the circumstances. Absolutely couldnāt believe how well she handled our final conversation. We ended things very amicably.

1 yDepends on how old you are.
65 and 50 is fine, but 30 and 15 is NOT.
30 and 40 is fine, if slightly weird, but 20 and 30 is a little suspicious (and 20 and 10 is "I'll kill you")
18 and anything above 23/24 just seems wrong.
Depends on your age, maturity level, where you are in life, etc. There's no black and white answer. The older you get, the less the age gap really matters. It only really matters when you're in your late teens and early 20s, because of where they are in life.60 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. As long as both parties are adults it's nobody's business.
As adults, people are allowed to to engage in relationship as they see fit, whether it is play, the playing out of karma, love, infatuation, sex.
If people believe in individual autonomy and freedom, then they must honour that.
Really it's more about the invididual capability and capacity of the person, their level of emotional and moral maturity. This may be reflected in age, but really, not really. I wouldn't date most 30 year olds or older because they're not on the same level. Nor are younger women. So it is completely individual. Based on that person's ability to be in relationship at higher levels of awareness.

1 yThat is one of the ultimate "it depends" questions.
If you are a teen, no more then 2 years. If you are in your 30's +, it could be up to 10 years. Depends on the person, depends on the age,.
You are showing 21. You really shouldn't be with someone less then 18. There can be a big difference in a person, esp a guy, between 18 and 21.
I was 20 when i got engaged to my ex wife. She was 17. We were together 25 years. It worked out. yes she wanted a divorce, but 25 years ia a long time.
However, I know a couple that have been together, for the most part, since they were in the 5th grade. They broke up a few times over the middle school/high school years, but never for all that long. So you never know.
10 Reply When Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall got married in 1945, he was 46 and she was 20. They were married for 12 until Bogie's death in 1957. In her autobiography, "By Myself," Lauren Bacall said that,
"I have fairly often thought how lucky I was. I knew everybody because I was married to Bogie, and that 25-year difference was the most fantastic thing for me to have in my life."
I won't go so far as to say that age is just a number because that reasoning can be used to justify some heinous shit. (Here's looking at you, R. Kelly.) But I will say that it's a secondary consideration to the mental and emotional connection you share with your partner.
10 Reply10 years, and even that's pushing it if you actually want the relationship to be successful and lasting. That is, if like me you want someone to be with for the rest of your life and not change partner every couple of years. Less than 5 years is ideal though. Oh, and if the difference is bigger then the younger person must be at least 22/23 years old. 18 year olds are not adults.

A great relationship but with a deadline because Thereās no chance weāre telling our parents this is happening (and kid in her case)
So ultimately it has to end

Massive gaps? As in older women than yourself?
1.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Well for me , I'm always 20 - 35 years older , its been this way for a long time..
From about age 45 ( 20 years ) , and now I'm 63 , last long term was 41 years old , then after her 29 years.
No one should be judging what is " acceptable " , outside of legalities. I get on far better with younger girls , idealily 35 years old would be perfect , and could be +10 years on that.
Its not the business of others.
10 Reply982 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Enough difference to be their parent's age is okay only if the older person doesn't have their own kids within 20 years of their partner's age, but old enough to be their grandparents age is too far. Plus it should only happen if they actually have compatible morals, compatible long term life goals, and some things in common they enjoy doing together besides just intimacy related activities. I disagree with casual sex/friends with benefits/ons regardless of ages.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yUntil last year the biggest difference that I've had any kind dating relationship was 11 years and it was the best relationship I've ever had. The connection and intimacy was amazing and I haven't found that level of it ever again. Unfortunately she had her own problems and is still stuck there.
Last year I had a brief couple of weeks long sexual relationship with a woman who was 17 years younger than me. I didn't find any problems, in fact I loved that she wanted to impress me more in bed than I did and everything I did was amazing. Also I like that whatever I came up with was fine because apparently I was the wiser one. But like I said it was a mostly sexual relationship and I doubt it would have gone far, even though I don't exclude the possibility of sleeping with her again.00 Reply- 3.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
1 yI was in a relationship with a lady 17 years older and have gone out on dates with women more than 20 years older. Ritchie Blackmore is almost 26 years older than his wife, and they chave been together since she was 18, so they've been together about 35 years. To me, whatever works for the adult couple is fine.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yI'm not trying to judge anyone in this area. I think age difference is ONLY relevant to the two involved in the relationship. Having said that, it has been proven time and again. Statistically speaking, the long term success drops way off with gaps larger than 10 years.

For a proper relationship with another woman I'll go as young as 18 and up to 20 years older.
For a relationship with a man, no more than 3 years younger and I've successfully gone 30 years older but covid killed thst as I worked with the public and his baby grandson was EXTREMELY high risk, we couldn't chance it.
30 Reply3.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It depends on your age. Don't go below 18 if you are 18+ once you exceed a certian age I would give a 10 year age gap as the maximum. For me, I wouldn't date anyone who is under 23 or will turn 23 before the end of this year. I also won't date someone who is 44 or will be before the end of this year.

And anyway, any woman who was actually smart and successful would have enough sense to move silently about it.

May I introduce you to our now-mutual friend @hawt14gurlz, Ms. Korshunova. He probably hasn't seen you since 2008.
- 1 y
It is very nice to meat you Ms. Korshunova. Since the ages of teen years are only from 13 to 19, I think the age gap of about 7 years is probably going to work nicely. It doesn't matter how old I am... just as long as she's a teenager.
- 1 y
@Hawt14Gurlz oh, so epstein wasn't involved? Korshunova died at 20 just because she wasn't a teenager anymore?
- 1 y
@ChronicTDS Oh shit... had to look up the name on Chat GPT. I didn't read all the details but damn...
So basically this profile owner added "loli" which means "children love" to be nice and then an actual victim of it?
Oh damn.
Ruslana Korshunova was a Kazakh model of Russian descent who gained international attention in the fashion industry during the early 2000s. Known for her striking looks and long, flowing hair, she appeared on magazine covers, in high-profile fashion campaigns, and on the runway, quickly establishing herself as a rising star in the modeling world. Her career included work with brands like Vogue and Nina Ricci.
The story surrounding her is tragic and controversial. On June 28, 2008, Korshunova was found dead after falling from her ninth-floor Manhattan apartment. Her death was ruled a suicide, but this conclusion was met with skepticism by some friends, family, and fans. Questions were raised about her mental health, as well as whether foul play might have been involved, leading to various theories and considerable media coverage.
In the years since her death, some close to Korshunova speculated that she may have been struggling with personal issues or pressures related to her career. Additionally, she had reportedly become involved with a group that some considered to be a self-help or spiritual organization, which led to further speculation about her mindset and well-being leading up to her death. However, no concrete evidence has emerged to challenge the official ruling of suicide.
Korshunova's story is often cited as an example of the darker side of the fashion industry and the pressures faced by young models. Her death remains a topic of discussion, sparking conversations about mental health, the high demands of the modeling world, and the need for support systems for those in similar industries. - 1 y
