I met my future wife at a Bonefish Grill restaurant in her hometown. We went back there in March 2023 and i got down on one knee and proposed to her. She said “yes” and we were married on April 27 this year. I’ll probably take her back to the Bonefish Grill for our first anniversary.

We met online, in person at a local Italian Restaurant. We've been back a few times but now consider it to be a nice memory... we haven't been back recently.

I don't remember the name of the restaurant in Los Angeles where we agreed to meet for our first date.
We got along great, our conversation just flowed, and time disappeared. At some point, I noticed something bumping my foot and realized that the waiter was vacuuming under our table. When we looked around, we realized that the place was empty and they were trying to close.

We went to our cars in the parking lot out back and continued chatting. When we were ready to leave, we realized that the gate had been locked.
So I hopped over the 6' cinder block wall and got someone from the restaurant to come and open the gate.
When I returned, she stepped close and, while gazing into my eyes; put her hands on top of my shoulders and rose up on her tip toes. I put my hands on her waist and pulled her to me. She gave me a tender, lingering kiss.

I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, but when she related the story to her friends later, she thought I was Superman who had leapt over that wall in a single bound to rescue her. LOL

Two days after that, she called me. I was surprised by the call but glad to hear from her. She said a friend had offered her two tickets to the Rolling Stones and Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Rose Bowl and wondered if I was interested in going.
Of course I was interested!
Her courage and initiative impressed me.
We had a great time at that concert and started dating exclusively after that.

On one date, I took her to a formal New Years Eva gala at the Queen Mary. During a slow dance, she noticed my erection pressing into her. She was flattered and turned on.

A year after we met, I made reservations for special evening plans. I took her to a nice restaurant on the beach in Long Beach, CA. Afterwards, we walked the short distance to where we boarded a Venician gondola for a moonlight ride through the Naples canals. It was stocked with Champagne, cheeses, crackers, fruit and chocolates.
That's where I proposed to her.

We met at the front doorway of the bar I was bouncing at in 2007. Instant zap on the eye contact. I’m not going to be corny and be like “I KNEW RIGHT THEN….”, but it’s more like, “in retrospect, that makes total sense.”

The bar actually moved about four years later. A new bar opened in its place, has since gone out of business, and now yet another bar has opened. So I guess we could go back to “the spot” if we ever want to…. but it’d be weird, like in a dream, when you’re somewhere you know, but it’s different? I’ve had dreams where I have whole other wings of the house that I wish I had in reality😂 Maybe that’s just me😅

And then we just have other places we’ve frequented or had a memorable time at too. So, quite a few places, in total.

My future wife and I met on the street outside of my first house.
It was a totally chance meeting, with her being accompanied by friends common to the both of us.
I happened to be in my open garage working on my boat when they drove by my house.
The driver recognized my truck in the driveway, then myself.
They stopped to talk.
They were attending a small party at a house two doors from mine, with me not knowing of the connection between my already known friends and my neighbors.
I was invited to the party.
The rest is history.

We first met at a bar where a band I sat-in with was playing but, there was no romance until about 4 or 5 weeks later. We bumped into each other again on the street about 2 weeks later and after talking for a while, she invited me to her place for pizza so she could take notes on all the records I was telling her about. A week later, we did that again. Another week later, I took her to a concert my band was playing and a day or 3 later, she had me over, again and we started making out.

I wasn't really into boys at the time and hadn't even dated anyone but I was smitten immediately, giggling. Honestly when I got home I had to change my underwear because they were soaking wet.

My family owned a house on the ocean and I med my wife while i was working in the yard and my wife walked by on her way to the beach. We often think of that when we walk there. Last January there was a big storm and the path got washed away along with half of the yard. The place we met does not exist anymore.
