Here is the thing I have this ex I met back in 2022 when i was freshmen year we started a situationship thing for like 3 month but I have avoidant attachment and when he asks me to be together I start pushing him and we end up in no contact for over 6 months we saw eachother around but we never talked untill one day he stopped me and just ask me If i wanted to do some work after then we started talking again we talked fo a while then we got together at first we had a great relationship but the we started fighting after like 4 months of dating we broke up but this time we ended up in a good term and he calls me once in a while for random things then last time he asks me to meet up because he was in a bad mood we met and we grab coffee it was like there were some sparks between us we talked a lot it was cold and he hugs me in his arms while we walk and he asks me "why don't you walk away from me" And he says "we've been like this for almost 3 years" because this is our 3rd time bring like this he suggest hanging out sometimes he asks me to call him the next so we xould hang out but i didn't and he didn't call either

The thing is I don't understand if he meant "why don't you walk away from me" as I'm always here for him or that he couldn't walk away from me either
