How would you describe love to someone who has never been in love?

I would describe it as a rollercoaster ride. It has it's ups and downs. There are a lot of times where it gets your adrenaline running and then there are points where you almost just want to get off, but for the most part you want to stay on because it's one of the best feelings you'll ever feel. There's just a rush of emotions, scared, happy, and excited.

I had a small "taste" of it, once, but it was an act... so after the breakup, it feels a bit hollow. But even that was like nothing I had experienced... and when it felt real, it was nice. I haven't had any HINT of that since, even with other women I've dated. The level of affection wasn't there, for those few who pretended to be interested for a short time.

I don't know if I'd be able to describe it first hand (other than "brotherly love" or "friendship love" (which has its own problems)).

If not as being drunk and unhappy.

If you don't know about the other person's feelings, as standing on the edge of a cliff in a cliff diving event.

In all of the cases you are not being your usual self. Sometimes you love it, sometimes you hate it but it is almost impossible to avoid.

Caring of kids about parents.

For lovers, "in love" caring n attraction. Feeling they are missing when apart.
