Is 7 years difference too much?

A typical 25 year old has finished all of his schooling, lives alone or with roommates. He's had a wealth of life experiences that you haven't. He should be completely supporting himself without help from his parents or others.

The small number of years isn't the issue. It's the vast difference between yours and his experiences.

my wife and I 7 years apart, no problem. at your age, there is big difference possibly in maturity, but then again... it can align well in other ways as the guy should be more mature and established vs an 18yr old guy.

there is a LOT you may not have figured out in life yet and to change, so plan on changing. Values alignment, commitment, goals in life more important than age.

it's not a problem as long as you are committed to each other, there is no problem with age.

Actually, we never contacted each other. After my grandfather's death and his will, we had to go to our hometown for his grave. I started to like it while I was staying there at their house. I first noticed the way he was looking at me, and that's how he started to attract my attention. We will stay at their house again next year for 1 month, hopefully if nothing goes wrong.
