Just depends on why she is my ex in the first place , I will only talk to an ex if I am single and her and I split up on mutual terms , but if she betrayed me and back stabbed me , I won’t give her much of my time whatsoever , she can apologize for her selfish actions , but she isn’t going to get anywhere with me , the damage is done. I already moved on so she is best to do the same.

That depends a lot on her reason for writing and what she has to say in her note or letter to me. There are several ex-girlfriends I want to avoid forever and others that I've actually become sort of friendly with. Either way, These are people that I'm never going to be intimate with again or get back together with or spend time with, but I don't mind being friendly and helpful if that is called for.
