Before i get attacked, he is such a good looking man and he is so gentle and sweet. He embodies everything i like in a man. He is also friends with my coworker so i asked him about him and he told me he is dating a girl but they can never get married because her dad won’t let her marry anyone that is from a different nationality. So, he doesn’t really stand a chance with her. I’m not actively trying to pursue him or anything i just like him from a very far distance and i only managed to have ONE conversation with him so far so there is obviously nothing at all between us. Am i a bad person?

This isn’t an attack, I’m just blunt, but it really looks like you’re trying to rationalize some trifling behavior because you want him for yourself. I get it, he’s everything you want but he’s not yours. Please give this woman the respect that you would appreciate from another woman and don’t act on your crush when knowing he’s taken. If things don’t work out in the future because of her family, then re-explore these feelings then. But right now he’s still with her and you have no idea what their outcome will be.

It isn't bad to like anyone.. I get crushes on lots of people regardless of relationship status. What makes you a bad person is if you actually start flirting or pursuing him.. But if you are like me and do nothing then it doesn't matter. You have a consistence we all do so if you feel bad, you are probably doing something bad. What makes me question how truthful you are being that you aren't doing anything, and that you won't, is the fact you are assuming that their relationship is already doomed just because her dad says they can't get married. That doesn't mean anything because once she is 18 she can do anything she wants, it her own choice..
