I don't need a woman to understand me. I became successful and learned who I was without needing that. I don't think the guys who built civilizations needed a woman to understand them or give them emotional support when the tampon vending machine wasn't working either.

What I value is loyalty and trust but those things must be earned, really and if I crashed my car every week, I shouldn't expect my wife to believe that I'm a good driver. Unfortunately some things in life require putting in the work. For some reason a lot of people believe you can snap your fingers and instantly have a good relationship.

By the way, there's a huge difference between a "partner" and a wife anyhow. You can end a non marriage situation for any reason or no reason. Marriage is a higher level (if you're smart enough to marry someone worthy of marriage) and shouldn't be discarded on a whim or because your panties are in a bunch.

There's never a perfect fit so depends if you have core features of your personality, values, and aspirations covered. And if she really is trying to understand you and may do so in the years to come and is accommodating when your clash.

Some people are better off apart but others can make it work. If they want to.

Yes, if you talk with someone and you can never seem to see eye to eye. Or they never care where you are coming from, you tell them your feelings and they start a fight or get defensive with you. Just leave it will save you sooo much time to not be with someone selfish or just plain stupid. Because it never gets better.
