Yes it happens , you are best to try to fix what is broken between you both before deciding to just walk away , whatever it is that is broken between you both can it be fixed? If not, then it’s best to walk away and realize they aren’t the person for you anymore. yea. im the type that doesn't give up very easy once I'm in. so I kept in. frankly, I stayed in way longer than I should have and committed way later.

dating is really about learning about yourself and the other andd etermining if 'this' is going to work for both. By learning, you get to decide if there are issues about you... raised to the surface in the conflict... that you want to address and that your partner is really better for you than the ensuing stress revealed.

sometimes, the stress is more than you can handle and you have to reset. but like a rocket on the launch pad... maybe that stress is getting you to a whole new place you never imagined before.

Big physical/presentation changes and my husband was not sure he was still attracted to me for a while. Was a huge blow to the relationship.

We actually decided to divorce before realizing how much work that would be, and so before going through with it we tried dating again as if starting new relationship with each other. So far it feels like it's working... it's definitely weird having to relearn how to talk to each other and what feels good now, but things are heating up again and it feels natural for the first time.. maybe ever to be honest... I am very happy we decided to try again before ending it.

Yeah I've felt that before. Like if we get into a particularly bad argument and I wonder "maybe this really won't work out" or when things get too static and I'm like "maybe we aren't as alike as we thought". Sometimes I get bad FOMO when I think about all the things I could be doing if I wasn't in a relationship, or if I was with someone different. I honestly think everyone has felt this way at least once, but for me, it helps me grow stronger and want to make it work even harder. It eventually goes away.

TBH, I'm generally fine if the women I'm with want to see other guys on the side and wouldn't end a relationship over it.

Anyway, about nine years into a relationship, my SO started seeing another guy and it got serious. I was fine with it but he wasn't. He insisted she leave me and live with him.
