How can I get my boyfriend to buy me flowers?

I'm not sure how well he takes hints, but you can try this.

Buy yourself some flowers and put them in a vase, prominently displayed, where he always sees them. After a few days, throw the flowers out but leave the empty vase behind. Hopefully, he'll decide to buy you flowers to put in the vase.
