I came home from work to see a box of chocolates from my friends with benefits. I was shocked because I genuinely didn’t think i was going to get anything nor did i want to get anything because then I’d feel obligated to get him something. The note said it was from his dog so i laughed and said thank you to him. However when i went to go out, a delivery guy gave me a bouquet of red roses and lily’s and i was completely shocked. This seemed a little weird to me because were not dating and now i’m starting to think he likes me. He eventually came over and brought me this huge dinner but now I’m confused and feel bad because I don't know what his intent was. I’m not going to lie i wanted to avoid him altogether because i didn’t want to give myself the wrong idea but oh well. Background info: we texted everyday and i see him an average of 3/4x a week sometimes i feel he’s playing games i’m not going to lie. for example, he keeps me in his phone as his aunt which is shady to me.

You're looking into it a little too much. If I was fucking someone on a regular bases I'd buy them something but I'd keep it light. You not wanting anyone to buy you stuff is defensive, that's your buisness but you should work on it if you ever want to get serious with someone. He is catching feelings, it's kinda impossible not to if you're having sex for most people. You should know that. Guys get like that though, doesn't mean we can't control it but you need to voice that you don't like it... duh.

Yes he probably likes you but is not really ready to be open and talk about how he feels. If you don't want to bind to him buy something for his dog, like dog food. This will show him that you only want to be friends with benefits with him and nothing more.

Or he is a player and wants that you falk for him so he can be at the higher position and have more control.
