He invests a lot of his time into you and starts conversations with you on a regular basis , you notice he checks you out a lot and smiles at you and attentive to you as much as possible. Those are signs that any guy is interested in you

Unavailable means taken if some way. I don't think it would be greatly different to any other man in the work place. We do need to be subtle now.

What I was getting at is that if a guy is interested in a girl in the work place he will be more careful in pursuing that interest now than he would have in the past. He might have just asked her for sex or asked her out at an earlier time.

If I was married or single, I don't think it would make much difference to how I displayed interest in the girl. Obviously I would be careful in front of my wife and now I have to be careful in front of HR is another way of putting it.

It is also possible that I just like talking to this girl, looking at her face and body and interacting with her flirtatiously and don't have any intention of taking it further than that.

I think it is going to be hard to distinguish and differentiate between these levels of interest because I'd be doing much the same stuff.
