Texting vs calling your partner?

Me and my partner, we both are the kind of person who find it hard to call people. So we generally text.

We live in the same city and work together, so we're not used to calling each other to talk but when we come back to our hometown, I feel like talking via call is nicer but at the same time we text n voice notes whole day and when I think about it there's nothing else left because we legit know what both of us did every moment.

NGL it's slightly confusing.

I almost always prefer texting as means of communication from a distance and when we want to meet up in person, just schedule it by text.

I'm okay with video calling too though. I think video calls are preferable to me nowadays.
