Dealing with overly friendly people?

this bish has said she is making a board with pictures of all coworkers. i told her: no, i dont do that. she managed to steal a pic of me anyway - "busted!" . that kinda ish pisses me off to no end. should i have reported her or am i antisocial one?

Busted smh, why are you making it sound so malicious? She didn’t add your picture to spite you but just so that she can include everyone in the office. I agree she should’ve respected if you didn’t want your pic on the board but if you know her as being overly friendly then you know that’s just her being kind. She may have also thought you were joking or misunderstood what you meant.

That’s fine if you don’t consider her a friend but she’s a friendly person, that’s just her nature of being, it doesn’t mean she considers you a friend at all. You said you don’t do that stuff, not that she can’t post your picture which is why I said it can be miscommunication as well. To me it sounds like you just don’t do those type of projects on your own if we’re being honest.

You should have complete say in how pictures of yourself are used. So she is totally in the wrong.

Having said all that, depending on how they are used, it shouldn't be a big deal. But it's entirely your choice.

If you tell someone not to do something and they do it anyways it’s disrespectful. You can be friendly while maintaining boundaries such as telling someone you’re busy.
