Honestly, I think personally hygiene is important in general. That is in regard to whatever you personally prefer to do to keep things healthy for you. Whether that be shaving waxing, or leaving it long hairs everywhere. I personally have struggled immensely with body order from child hood into adulthood. Thus I wound up making a homemade deodorant tailored to my needs. I have also been shaving under my armpits since I was quite young as it helped quite a bit to reduce the smell, and brown spots in the pits of my clothes.

Some women shave down in their nether region as wel to reduces smells, and keeps it healthy. I tend to shave it , and keep it trimmed during periods. Better for healthy, balance down there, and overall cleanliness. Some women keep it long haried, and just pay extra attention to washing it. However, being in a relationship I have shaved it more often as I am not certain if my man all of a sudden might wanna do something, and see what it looks like. Thus I prefer to keep it trimmed for healthy clean, and balanced nether region just for him. Honestly good to consider in a relationship how your partner prefers you to maintain things. Does he want you to shave it, wax it, or keep it long haired. What does he find is most attractive on you as a women. truthdully have heeded doctors advice most of my life for all my hairy areas legs, pits, and nether region. The doctor never seemed to think it was bad for me to shave it during my periods. I never had a man in my life before to consider. Now that I have a boyfriend of almost two years. My thoughts recently are changing. Hmm I should not just do what I have always done for years. I should be thinking about what my man finds attractive. What is he going to love most my shaving, or not shaving. Will he be bothered by what I am doing? Will he like it shaved down there? Hmm I am now just going to ask him what would be most attractive for you baby. Rather than just doing what I always do.

@Tittealicious yeah hygiene standards are so important. For me and my ideal girlfriend or hot date, me and her would be equal minded about importance of hygiene. Hell, I even intended to get circumcised before being sexually active (I do have a medical approval that requires it, creams never stretched things out there, tight skin). @NicholasRedone Completely agree it is important to be equally minded about personal hygiene. My boyfriend was straight up in asking me about personal appearance. We talked quite a bit when getting to know each other about our hygiene. That a ways we were on the same page about it. I was talking him what a person looks like physically does not matter. Then he said what about their appearance, I was saying if someone is not physical fit that is okay with me. I love people for who they are not what they look like. Then he said about appearance being how one takes care of their body, and we went from there talking about everything. It is fine to not be circumcised if that is something that never happens as long as we carrot our bodies accordingly.

It’s more than just an attraction level. It’s basic hygiene. Sweat and other stuff “stick” to the hair. It’s just more sanitary to wax/shave/whatnot.

I'll repeat myself as you seem to be immune to logic. Hair is porous, meaning it's able to absorb and hold on to sweat. That means even after showering, it's unlikely you're able to remove all of the sweat odors. Do you never change your sponges in the kitchen?

If your not washing well enough to remove all the odors then you probably need a different soap/method of washing/maybe even a change of diet. The odor should not stick around after showering

In my US culture it is normal for a woman to shave. For her not to shave is being lazy or showing contempt for femininity and/or contempt for the idea that she should have to put any effort in to attract/keep a man. Same type of woman will be lazy in many other ways or get lazier.

Of course they never say, "I'm lazy". They will have very flowery fancy sounding language to make it seem like they are "empowerd", "strong", "brave". At the end of the day they are just very selfish and want to be independent like a single person while in a relationship with a sucker who feels he has to give her various traditional benefits even tho she is reducing/removing all of her traditional benefits for him. A good example of this would be women demanding that men clean & cook while saying it's insulting/demeaning for a woman to do any of that. Let these women tell it and a man is supposed to do 100% while she does zero. Nah. We're not having it.

I don't agree with either of your options. But the closest one is that they should shave. But in reality it depends on what they want. If you want to attract the type of person who prefers a girl be shaved then guess what? You gotta shave. If a girl wants to attract the type of guy who like intelligence guess what? I don't care about Google. I know for me shaving my armpits and down there causes odor. When someone shaves the oils that are suppose to go on the hair go onto the skin causing odor and bacteria to build up so it makes some people smell more. If I shave I have to constantly clean with rubbing alcohol under my arms during the day to kill the smell. When I keep some hair there is no smell
