I find it to be disgusting and unappealing regardless if I'm sexually attracted or not.

One day I was at target and this girl with armpit hair walked by me. She was the mustiest girl I had ever smelled in my life. Absolutely putrid

Even me, a man. I practice hygiene.

I strongly suggest women maintaine a clean appearance not just for your basic self respect but respect for others around you.

Some do. I definitely found it freeing when I realized I didn't have to shave after all. Unfortunately I don't think hygiene is even generally taught as well as it ought to be. I didn't know how to wash myself properly until I was in highschool, and I've heard of people even far past that age not knowing how to do a lot of things hygiene related. It's something considered personal or gross, and many parents just don't ask or open to questions very much because it can be awkward to talk to your kids after a certain age about do you feel like you're getting yourself clean in the shower and whatnot.

Women, like men, can have all natural hair and smell nice. They just have to know what they're doing. Fortunately there are educational articles and videos covering common problems with hair hygiene online. Hopefully the woman you passed just hadn't realized she smelled yet, or that she could try different methods to avoid it.

Nothing is wrong with hair, just like nothing is wrong with being shaved and waxed. Your issue is that she had a strong odor and your visual issues have to do with how you were brought up and who your peers where in society.

To be less noticeable and also for those with weak stomachs which most of us are now it's best to apply deodorant but it's not illegal to not give a shit. Lol

Whatever the issue hair is hair it's not unnatural if it was then I could understand the mindset but it's not. So I disagree on the hair point.

Everything else well odor can be strong and be hard to take so I think it is best to try to use something to help block strong smells that others are not accustomed too. Or they can try to eat differently so the smell is less pungent.

No. Read it again. I said women started improving their hygiene in modern history, where men had less hygiene (from working all the time and doing factory labor) and didn't smell as bad as the women with poor hygiene due to building up resistance to stuff like BO and excessive sweat.

Actually I think you guys are just used to your own smell. I notice that guys have to reapply often to not smell because thier BO is stronger. Women will begin to smell if she does not apply it after a shower. Men probably can smell women more too if she does not use deodorant but also because our BO in nature is used as a signature to recognize us.

What once was natural and useful is not longer understood.

So men and women equally have odors but men's are stronger.

If you do not use deodorant and sometimes it's even based on how you eat. Then yes you will have an odor regardless of hair or not.

In my opinion as long as you don't smell, you're fine. Showering and brushing your teeth is the minimum I should be able to expect from anyone. You can have armpit hair without smelling.

I am a woman and I have shaved my arm pits since I was 13. Personally it bothered me if that area wasn't shaved and and didn't have deodorant under each arm. I did that for myself and no one else.

It doesn't feel empowering. If I don't shave then I don't shave. Personally, I don't like the hair on me and the way it feels, but sometimes shaving can be a hassle, especially for someone hairy like me. I don't think not shaving is "unhygienic" as long as you are taking regular baths n such. Being shaven doesn't equal clean and being unshaven doesn't equal dirty.
