Joined in matrimony for over 28 years and still love each other. Not simple or complicated. We differ on opinions and he, God bless him, wears rose tinted glasses with his head in a hole in the ground, but we love and trust each other. We just don’t talk politics or theology. I save that for my male best friend who lives across the country.
Your ex sadly was a lying, manipulative, cheating whore. Be glad she is gone and there isn’t child support involved. Nope. Once a cheat always a cheat. She was gearing up for an affair or new partner if she wasn’t already sleeping around. It hurts having a relationship implode, but her decisions are not your fault. Know you deserve a loyal partner who will share your ethics and rules for a relationship. Do not settle for less.
