What is the most painful thing someone has said to you?

Conversely to one of my previous posts, what is the most painful thing someone has said to you? I think for me it was the words "I see things in you I don't want to see in my children". Really came out of nowhere from the relationship which at the time I thought was going fairly well. Still, if nothing else you learn you need to grow from things like that.

I was super in love with a guy who made me think he felt the exact same way. We got into a big argument and don’t talk for a few days, he even messaged me this to try fix things, “I don’t care about that, I care about you, I want you so if you’ve moved on then ok just tell me”
And this another time “you’re perfect, you’re loyal and kind and beautiful. You make me feel crazy and have control over me, I can’t help wanting to be around you”
Man the stuff he’d say to me and all the extremely romantic things he’d do even when we became long distance…
He ended things with me and said he never wanted me and never cared about me so I sent him screenshots of so many conversations like that and you know what was like a knife to my heart? “Yeah lol as a friend”
He started seeing someone right when we ended so I think he’d been seeing her for a whole lot longer before things ended with us. He was extremely nonchalant. Days before we ended, some special photos were shared so the “yeah lol as a friend” hurt so bad.
Ended mid 2022 and I’m still not over him…
I met other guys but they were all exactly like him, through and through.
I’ve never been able to move on from this guy though and my thoughts go back to him daily. Hourly.
We had one of those interlinked connections it was crazy.
He now stalks me, probably too ashamed to reach out so he just looks at my posts.
He told me no one will ever want me and I’ll only just get used…

Most painful thing anyone has ever said to me was a misdirection that set me and a loved one into very different directions for no reason, followed by a very empty declaration of love.

Yeah, and by the time either one of us figured out what had happened I'd already slammed him for it... we'd already let too much time pass without saying anything... and he's been friends with that person this whole time. So... it is what it is.

It is what it is. He was an idiot for trusting the wrong person. And the fact that he accepted distance over clarity tells me that it wouldn't have worked between us either way.
