There’s quite a few though I no longer remember.

But I was hurt by one of them the most for some reason, I was 14 or 15 and I didn’t wear a skirt that my mom wanted me to wear, she was very controlling at some point. She always wanted to choose a skirt or a dress for me and always chose the bold outfits that I was uncomfortable wearing,

She called me a slut, when I didn’t dress as she wanted.

the word hurt me, because at that time I hadn’t even kissed a boy. So I felt very unfair she called it to me.

She changed and has overcome her controlling nature, and I learned to oppose her and do things my own way, but even though I have been hurt a few times, I have forgotten the most,

that word though stayed in my memory.

    What about you?

If I had known you used drugs in the past, I would have never married you.

It hurt because I was being vulnerable about typical teenage antics that had been dead and buried some 10 years in the past at that time.

I think I would have found out about it before I married you if it was so important

@exitseven it wasn't important and hadn't been a factor for ages at that time.

I mean I used to smoke weed in HS and Uni. Then I stopped. I just felt like I was treated lkke an addiction and regardless it's a horrible thing to say to a heavily pregnant woman. (I was pregnant at the time).

I think people should only disclose what has an impact on the present situation.

For example, if they hold a torch for someone else. They have a disease from the past and still are affected by it.

@DermalPunch I would be concerned if you used acid or meth.

@exitseven say I had. It's still appropriate to tell a person had known... I would never have married you?

This gym teacher made a smart remark on my weight, and he said, well you may be ready for the gym, but I don't think the gyms ready for you, all them Ringgold Schools had smart ass or rude ass teachers.

From my dad when I was 15 "You disgust me"
He was pissed at my mom and would take it out on me.

I can think of lots of things that were intended that way, but none that actually affected me. The most painful thing anyone has ever said to me is, "She's gone." from my dad when my mom died.

My dad said if he knew what id become, he would have aborted me.

I guess making six figures, having a successful life, good friends and a happy family (and the only grandkids he has) makes me worthy of death...

Realise that your Dad is envious of you. Please please please excise his disease from your soul. Even if you made 4 figures you are still good enough and always have been. There are way more people that love you. ❤️

@DermalPunch lol it appreciate your response. I am nothing like my dad. My children love me and I love them. Yes, I believe much of my dad's disdain is rooted in jealousy. He cannot make happiness so he must take it away. One time while visiting me he threatened to beat my kids because the were "too happy". Its tough because naturally, as their child, I seek their validation and approval. I would push myself to overcome and prove I am worthy of love. Thats why I lead a very successful life. But in the end, it never mattered to them, and I remain a perpetual loser in their eyes. So now, I push myself, not to prove it to them, but to prove it to me.
