How do I readapt after being in a relationship?

So I am a 33 year old autistic guy who got for the most part was single throughout life and honestly believed I was going to be single my whole life well in 2020 somehow I got into a relationship. During this relationship I was verbally and physically abused and told in the end why try to understand you when I can date someone normal. So that relationship ended in May of 2023 like my brain has not been able to find single person again how does this work for some reason I always still sleep on a single side of the bed as if I’m leaving a spot
