If you've ever cheated on a partner, why did you do it and did you get caught out?

I did when I was younger and then I swore it to myself before I even started dating. I wouldn't be that type of guy, but the problem was is that we're in a marriage of I believe 5 years at the time. And um, she did nothing at all, even after me talking. Even after me talking again, even after me showing little regard, or should I say little respect to her even after You know me trying to ignore getting hard to acknowledge me. In some way, uh, she still just did nothing. And so instead of me doing the right thing, and uh, divorcing, uh, stepped out. Cause every time I mentioned something about divorce. Or I mentioned something about us splitting up for any reason she would start crying. She used mommy emotions as a tool then blamed me for stepping out

Ok good haha. I don't agree with physical cheating. Tho my boundaries have bended a lot lately as that used to include not being with a cheater. But... now I think that's not my responsibility. I'm single. I'm doing nothing wrong. They are. That's not on me. BUT I don't get involved with a guy already with a woman. The ones I see as FBs got with a girlfriend after we were already hooking up. And like I'm. fine if they said they can't see me now. But they don't wanna stop.
