Would you meet IRL someone you met online?

I have always been very skeptical about meeting someone IRL I had met online, but recently I met this woman I met on Instagram who works as a model and things went very well.

We sort of followed each other on Instagram - she likes my walking nature posts - and a friendship was born. I met her in Vienna and we had a very pleasant afternoon. It was fun because it was a windy day and she was too light on coats, so I gave her my leather coat and she made a post about it.

Now I have invited her back so she can meet my family and enjoy my side of the Alps!

I have and only will meet her , if I know she is being honest and upfront with me and she doesn’t hesitate to prove to me she is legit. If she can’t prove to me she is legit? then no way in hell would I plan to meet her whatsoever, I only meet girls’ online that have no problem video chatting with me. So we both can see we are who we say we are. People that hesitate and make excuses are catfishes and spammers , don’t fall for that nonsense whatsoever. Pretty much every person carries a smart phone these days that has a camera on it and they have internet access where they can easily video chat you , if they hesitate and make excuses , then don’t waste anymore of your time on them because they are more than likely blowing smoke up your ass.

There are some I would. One woman who is very smart and actually hosts a national support group online for people with a disease that is present in her family. I got to know her online and communicated by email and phone. We live far apart so there has not been the opportunity to meet her in person, but if somehow we were near each other I would go out of my way to meet her and talk in person. And there are many others on here that I might be okay with meeting in person.
