What do you think of big age gap relationships which are NOT predatory or with any grooming involved but just 2 consenting adults?

I mean me ans my husband are 7 years apart but before that me and my ex was 15 years apart

How is that backwards? Most younger people are not ready for what you are ready for when you are older. Since you had your free time and done what you wanted to do, so to go ahead and tie down someone with kids and responsibility when they are young is not fair to the younger person. I also don't believe in casual flings so really most people have no reason to date through big gaps.. Biggest gap I would say is acceptable is 10 years but even that is pushing it. Statistically speaking big age gap relationships rarely last.

People who get into big age gap relationships, do so in their sound mind. They are not asleep through it. And if we rely on statistics, there are more separations/ divorces and breakups among traditional relationships than in any age gap relationship. It is a matter of perspective alone, not reason or logic. A happy relationship can be established and cherished, no matter what age difference there is. So many older people are childish in their ways and so many younger people are mature beyond their age.

Statistics say people close in age have a better chance at lasting compared to any big age gaps relationships. They can happen and workout but I personally would not try it since I am not attracted to older guys and I met plenty of younger guys who are just immature so I'd rather age with someone close in age to me. So we both get old and ugly together not one before the other.

Then it brings me back to my first comment - you are entitled to your opinion... and beliefs. While others are entitled to live crazy and fuhk with society traditions.
