I don't think anyone ever finds someone exactly like their dream, because ultimately the dream is about what we want. Not who we need. But if we find someone who is a really good person and meshes well with us, we often discover through the process of loving them that they are better than the person we dreamed of

I have found good and great partners, yes... at different times/stages of my life

but the dream is still, to find myself with one... for the rest of my life
