Have you ever found something out about a friend that made you want to immediately reconsider the friendship, or at least reevaluate it?

I just did.

One of my closest friends is 10 years older than his wife. That's not my problem. I figured hey they married when she was 19.. It's not too bad, must have dated shortly or something.. But no, they started dating when she had just turned 17.. Eww.. And they have a daughter together. For the record she's 26 and he is almost 36, and they have been married for just over 6 years.

I normally have zero issues with age gap relationships, unless said relationship was started when one of them, regardless of gender, was a minor.

Yeah. I knew someone for about three years, give or take a bit. First year she seemed a little off kilter bc she was new to town and lost, so I helped her out. But by the end of the first year she showed herself to be a bit of a diva. The second year I spent most of my time connecting her with people for a project she claimed she wanted to start up. But whenever time came to start the project she'd bail or just go MIA, so I stopped connecting her with people. Little by little I noticed her MO was more about finding a sugar daddy than it was about getting a startup off the ground, so I stopped calling her and stopped taking her calls. This year she showed up taking a different approach to things, which made it ALL TOO CLEAR that she wasn't a friend to me, but simply a thorn in my side who was using me pretty blatantly while then putting me down to others. When I saw that I was basically done having anything to do with her. She's now blocked, etc. so I don't have to deal with her in the future.
