Does anybody else like making their partner a sandwich?

Got you attention! I know this goes way against the norm, and so many will tell me that I shouldn't like to do this. The truth of the matter is that I like making a sandwich and/or cooking for my boyfriend. It's not that he can't, but I feel like when he has been mowing or changing the oil in my car or doing other repairs around the house, it is the least that I can do. I enjoy washing his clothes too, but have been told by so many that I shouldn't. It is what it is I guess.

Yea , I love cooking and making food for my partner , if she respects me I will respect her. It’s the little things like that , that matter in relationships, if you truly love and care about your partner , you won’t hesitate to do nice things for each them or each other period. I only like being with girls’ that want to be a team , working together and spoiling each other. I don’t need fancy gifts or expensive things to make me happy , what makes me happy is knowing she os by my side and has my back , the same way I have hers. I don’t care for girls’ that think they deserve to be catered to at all times , a girl that just wants my wallet over anything else. I will kick her ass to the curb as soon as possible if that was the case. A girl that works with me and not against me will receive my heart completely

Bitter, resentful fools would give that advice. I bet there are lots of people telling you to not do that and criticizing you for doing good things for your boyfriend.

I enjoy cooking, so yes I enjoy cooking for my partner but I do enjoy when he cooks me dinner too. He makes the meanest burger or beef sandwich (burger with gravy and yummy stuff).

I don't touch my mans clothes while dirty but now he is responsible for getting things washed and dried.

I don't see a problem with it. Though I quickly realised how important a sandwich is to Americans. There's a whole science to it over here. What bread to use, what cheese to use, what cold cuts. To grill or not to grill. What sauces to use.

I do like making her stuff to eat and even drink. Doing things for partners is part of what being a partner is about. One of the fundamental needs for people is to feed and it's primal to have someone do it for you.

Not really - my ''family'' is southeast Asian, and they have little understanding of what bread culture (or sandwiches in specific) is about.

But...

to return favours for the favours we receive isn't 'wrong' in general, of course.

I think your partner would prefer to continue functioning as a human being rather than a sandwich, which im told is far less enjoyable.
