I love my wife's cooking but I actually started taking over doing the bulk of the cooking since I wanted to eat very healthy foods being a bit of a fitness junkie. So I thought the most courteous way is to just volunteer to cook more to eat healthier rather than asking my wife to cook healthier meals.
My wife has a tendency to cook carbs on top of carbs: rice and noodles and bread all over the place. It's delicious but starts showing up on my waist if I eat it too much. So I cook mostly high-protein meals with only some complex carbs like veggies and moderate fats.
My wife cooks dinner around 1-2 times a week now. I cook the rest.
I'm a fitness junkie too 😂 I've done so much research on the ideal diet and how much of each foods is ideal
@HawkPerception I've found from my experimentations that I seem to respond best to protein and fiber, so high protein, complex carb sources, and moderate amount of fat (preferring healthy fats like nuts).
Some of this might be based on satiety for me which might be subjective. I find the quickest way for me to feel full is to combine protein and fiber. Especially fiber fills me up.
The problem with my wife's cooking, like when she makes spaghetti, is that I seem to have a bottomless stomach for low-fiber carbs. So unless I very deliberately stop myself, I'll want to make a second plate, third plate, etc, of her food.
Same here brother. I can eat a whole pot of pasta 😂
@HawkPerception Absolutely! 🤝 My wife's very good about eating her own cooking since she just makes herself a miniature plate of pasta and she's fine with it.
But I eat plate after plate until the entire pot is almost empty and asking her, "You sure you don't want a second serving?" Her: "No, I'm full!" Then eat it and end up eating maybe what should be five people's servings by myself. 😂
Living the good life, eh? 😂
@HawkPerception Definitely fun to eat her cooking but I feel terrible when I start to get chubby. So I had to just stop her from cooking too much. Easiest way was to volunteer to do most of the cooking.
You're living with a wife that loves you. That's why you're lucky brother
@HawkPerception Definitely very lucky that way! Hope you can find yours as well.
Appreciate it 🙏🏻
Although I consider myself as being a very extremely confident cook and baker, I must confess that my husband far surpasses me with both his amazing creative and adventurous dishes/meals... It's just such huge shame that he has such very little time available to spend in the kitchen.
Ofc. That’s a really sweet and romantic gesture. I’d appreciate that

I don't have one but I wouldn't mind so long as it's mostly healthy foods.

Yes, of course. I also cook for her. We each cook 1-2 times a week for each other. It takes a bit of work because she's Filipino and likes food (rice and seafood) that I don't eat (I eat a bit of rice, but for her it's every day), so any more than this might be difficult.
"about rice yeah.. all day every day"
For me, white rice is something I can handle about 4 times a year, so it's a bit of a struggle when she would eat it at every meal. Luckily, she's open to eating and cooking different foods, while still being able to cook herself rice a lot.
I do love lumpia, and since I'm a big grill guy, I can made adobo pretty often, among the other stuff I grill, and she definitely loves that.
Aim good cooker i always cook my meals i don't like fast food and restaurants only if i have date but most of time i cook and every woman i have been whit her she like when i do't
and now women in relationship whit her. We don't go to restaurant a lot most of time i invited her or she invited me to her place
Yeah. His ingredients/recipes are good. But the plating/appearance be lackin. He better not ever go on MasterChef
As long as I like the food 😂 Otherwise, I prefer to cook myself.
Lol I’m single 🥺 but it is very hot when a man can cook and cooks for me~
Yes, he is an amazing cook. Hard to say no.
Daily and it is one the reasons I married her. Wouldn't be much of a relationship if she couldn't cook.
Yeah, my wife is a good natural cook. She has something of a gift that she didn't discover until she was in her late 40s after we got cable TV and she got hooked on The Food Network.
He only cooks for me when i get sick n yea i love it... it feels so sweet n special
I was actually surprised that my girlfriend could cook because she is so attractive
but sometimes I forget she’s the oldest of 26
she's been cooking all her life and I love her food
Although a good cook I don't want her going to the trouble of cooking for me and the mess of cleaning up. She will not let me help.
Love it! She cooks all the easy meals usually during weekdays and I cook fancier meals on the weekends and sometimes Fridays.
Back when I used to have a partner they never cooked for me. Her parents did though but that doesn’t count
I love to cook and since I don’t have a partner it works out fine…. Unless you want to cook for me too? We can take turns… I hope you like spicy?
When a woman cooks for me, it's very satisfying and it almost feels like it tastes better when another person makes it. I guess that's the spice of luxury.
Of course a woman that can cook is always a turn on.
I LOVE IT. She cooks almost every time we're together, it's great.
I’m the one that does the vast majority of cooking and my girlfriend loves it

My boyfriend is a chef. He doesn't cook at home 😂
Yes. Because I can't cook at all.
