I do, we work well as a team, it's fun, explorative. She has good techniques and ideas I've deployed in my role as head chef.

My wife does most of the cooking at our house. I do some, but I don't enjoy it. I have a couple specialty dishes, though, that I make on my own every once in a while.
I don't really like cooking together because we get in each other's way. Although, I often help a bit by chopping veggies or something.

We don't have a kitchen big enough for two people who don't do well being subordinate in that environment.

So I cook and we avoid too much conflict there

I love cooking with my honey on weekends when done with work. It makes me feel not alone in the kitchen. Its fun and makes things get done quicker.

YEah wait till the ingredients get kinky... I put a cucumber in her once and took it out and took a big bite out of it and so did she. Ohh lord... Then she said wrong cucumber, so I put the proper one in.

She would stand over me and tell me all the things I am doing wrong. Not my idea of fun.

I don't have a partner but my guess would be it would depend if I was a better cook then her. I don't mind taking a back seat to someone more skilled then me. But if I was better than her I'd probably want to micromanage every thing she did. Sorry.
