I think it depends on how you want to look at it. @7Pheonix7 asked the other day, "Is it better to have loved and lost or to have never loved at all". And I told her if you've never loved at all then you have no understanding what it means to have loved and lost. Likewise if you've loved and lost you have no idea the depth of loneliness to have never loved for some people. I've been single my entire life. Do i feel like I missed out sometimes? Yes. But then I come on here and see how truly horrible some people are and I think to myself, no I didn't miss out on much but heartbreak.😆 My heart has always been open, will always be open. But I do not need to be in a relationship to give my life meaning. Bottom line, NOBODY should be in a relationship just to be in one, to say they're in one, to feel "normal". That is the absolute worst reason to be in one. Be in a relationship because you truly care about that person and for no other reason. TThats my take on it.👍

The not beat-up by bad experiences option. For sure it's better to have never had a relationship, than to have had a bunch of bad ones.

I think it depends on the person. Some people will be better off not experiencing heartbreak. While others need to experience it to learn and grow.
