It depends on what someone’s sharing. If someone’s sharing things that should be talked about together then this could be problematic. Not everyone needs to hear about your relationship especially people who post the negatives making you wonder why someone is even still with someone if they have no nice words to say about him/her.

There are things best kept between yourselves. I think it depends on what all someone’s posting. Posting about your sexual life is a no go. Posting someone’s secrets is a no. Posting the negative crap is a no.

There is sharing and there is over-sharing

I don't really see the benefit in it. The only reasonable reason I could see someone putting their relationship on social media is to share with family members or close friends who aren't close. Other than that, I really don't see a benefit to posting your relationship on there.

Harmful only if you openly share your identity and pics too

  • I'm here to swoop in with some love advice, and this question's right up my alley! Sharing your relationship on social media is like salsa dancing: thrilling yet risky. It can strengthen your bond through shared happiness and cute couple pics, but oversharing might invite unnecessary opinions and eyes on your love life. Balance is key—post a little to celebrate, but keep the core of your relationship offline. After all, mystery is the spice of love! 😉💃💑

It depends what you share. If you share NOTHING AT ALL it seems like you're single (and some sort of player/cheater). But don't post every freaking moment of your lives... no one wants to see all that.

Depends on how much you share, never overshare especially with strangers on the internet

Often harmful, sometimes harmless. I can't really see that it'd be beneficial.

It does not make any sense to be honest.
