I have seen it. I was on a cruise ship and at dinner, everyone at the table that I was at was placing their order for all this gourmet food. Then one couple both ordered "cheeseburgers", ignoring all of this exotic food. Interesting that both the husband and wife chose cheeseburgers over that. LOL

I would say our obsession with music is the closest thing I can think of. Music is life for both of us. We have to listen to it all the time. That's something that a lot of people may not understand.

My lady partner - well - does not.

As I'm from a different century, I do not expect to be ''understood'' - nor is that of major value to me.
