1.) Your personal bias can become a self fulfilling prophecy. If you believe something to be true absent any evidence you may behave in a way which makes that outcome more likely.

2.) The signs are frequently painfully obvious even if they are subliminal. Your "gut feel" is just your logic trying to get through to your emotions, insecurities, and fears so you will accept reality and stop denying it. Some people hang onto willful blindness longer than others.

3.) How's your self awareness of these traps we all have to struggle with? Ever look into a mirror and examine the person staring back at you?

I think girls trust their gut feeling more, and they have a better connection with it. They know when something is happening.

I think Guys ignore their gut feeling more often. Guys always act very sure of themselves. I have before.. like I knew something was wrong, but I assumed it couldn’t be.. when I knew I should have trusted my gut feeling.

I have a strong gut instinct, I can sense something bad or potentially bad right away. Even if it wasn’t a dangerous situation, it could have been.. but I was prepared. I think more guys are like that, compared to girls.

Not just about my partner, any random people too. With my partner it was that I shouldn't trust her with the guy friend she was going to visit, and she was cheating on me with him. Outside if that though there are a few people I've met over the years that I had a guy feeling that they were off when I meet them that I couldn't place and every one of them turned it to be a bad person (the first two that come to mind we're a child predator and someone who was abusive toward their partner)

Always listen to your gut feelings! It will tell you things that you aren't realising yet. It's your 6th sense and it's the most powerful sense you have but people often don't dare to thrust that feeling. I have been thrusting it completely and it tells me things that are true while I'm not seeing them yet
