Two main factors that I think seal my relationship that aren't necessarily magical is that he was single and available while the other guys are married, and also that he treats me very well and finding a personality where I cannot identify a single red flag or moral issue is an excellent stroke of luck and not one I should take for granted. Many people are not lucky like me, and end up with attractive people who have behavioural issues.

Yes, I did. I realized he’s my soulmate when very early on we went through something extremely challenging that usually leads to break ups but strangely it brought us closer together. We’re inseparable now. I love him very much.

Yes. She asked me to marry her. I knew we had a lot in common but until she asked me to marry her I had no idea she was that committed to me. But she's always been smarter and more observant than me. Over the years I've come to understand why she chose me better.

It hadn't really crossed my mind. At least not seriously, before she asked me. I mean sure I envisioned our future together. But as I said I didn't think she was committed to me like that. To be fair we were both young.

Yeah. I'm thankful she asked me. I'm not saying I wouldn't have done it. But from I've seen of most women they would quit a guy like me if I'd taken as long as I probably would have. Because I didn't really understand the depths at which she loved me or why she did till we married. She really is a better person than me. And I tell her all the time how lucky I was.

She is a LDR, living in Salt Lake City, and I met her through her kids who live next door to me.. Not sure we will ever be 'together' but I feel she is a 'once in a lifetime find"!!!

Our commonality of life experiences... I worked my way through college in the industry she now works in, and I understand what she experiences. She is an adventurous soul, and exercises daily, as do I. We do Yoga, weight training, and practice healthy eating habits. Although she works a stressful job, we play Chess together and also enjoy outdoor and indoor sports.
We have traveled together, she helped me through my only brothers cancer illness, his death, his funeral and burial in a military Cemetery in Atlanta, leaving her job in SLC, and flying to Atlanta with me to help me... and I got very sick in Atlanta on the first trip and she nursed me through it while assisting me through Jerry's death and funeral... the grief was horrible and she helped me through it...
