It depends on the guy and what he's capable of doing with the precious time he has this woman in his life. Some guys just sit like couch potatoes and barely recognize their partner's needs or interests. Archie Bunker style... Who wants that? Nobody.
Balance is good. The guy who is attentive to his woman and the woman who is attentive to her guy... Then it doesn't matter where tf you are... home or Buckingham Palace... you'll be happy with one another.10 Reply

there's lots of homebodies out there. But most women want some spice in their life too. I know a guy like that married and I feel for his wife, she wants to travel but he doesn't. You do have to give and take when you accept that next person, roll with it. Maybe she'll add a whole new splash of fun to your life, as my wife did. Id have never ever ever gone to NYC, traveled asia, enjoyed some so many amazing foods, and maybe not have gotten past my snags, without her coming to my life.
And that started when I was older than you. Life... is just getting started.
Personally speaking of what I've seen, I'd stand up and look down. If cannot see much of your feet, I'd quit the beer. That crap is great, until like anything, it's too much. At your age, the body can't handle it so much and will deteriorate. With the freed time, Id' go to the gym, and work emotionally and spiritually on "Finchie40 2.0". Cause that's what it is...

I don’t just sit home and drink beer lol , I do enjoy going out at times , and traveling so I am all about as well, All I am saying is I am perfectly content content being home , I don’t always have to go out to have fun , when I am home , i am getting my hands into something , whether fixing something or doing yard work , and being outside as much as possible , but come the evening , I feel content just being at home sitting on my porch and having a few beers , listening to music , or jamming on my bass guitar. Next a to a fire. I made a hang out room on my porch with a gas fire pit , tv and I also just got one of those game stocks with 20.000 games on it that’s fun to play at night as well , or sometimes I will watch a movie or show. Even though I am not
Much of a tv person , every once in a while I will find a good movie. - 1 mo
you'll align with lots of women, there's plenty out there. Go to some new circles, places you haven't been before. discover new life and new faces. the world is your oyster again...
I mean I know someone who has a boyfriend like that and likes that, so yeah I'd say some people may like it, while others might not. It's person dependent, not majority dependent

946 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Nope, not me! I want a man who is ambitious and a hard worker outside of the hous. 🏡 👞👞👞👞
I like to look up to my man and staying home, chugging down the beers, and not having a job outside of the house isn't a man that I would look up to or feel secure with.02 Reply- 1 mo
I am definitely ambitious , and a hard worker , I just prefer being at home on my down time instead of always going out in public , don’t get me wrong , I do enjoy going out sometimes, if it’s something fun and exciting, or something planned that sounds fun and interesting, But overall I am perfectly content and at peace when I am home , working on the house or working in the yard , I am also a brewer , me and my brother and best friend are trying to establish a brewery so one day we can quit are days jobs and focus on brewing beer instead. We grow our own hops and barleys and wheats etc. We already brewed 8 different styles of beer , trying to make beers that fit everyone’s taste buds , We are having a blast with it. I love being outdoors , fishing and swimming and exploring new things. I also love music and concerts as well as well as festivals that catch my interest. But the end of the day I am happy to be home 😊

Perhaps I misinterpreted your question ❓
I read it to mean like a house husband vs. working outside the house.
If you are just talking about time after work then yes, I would definitely want him home and not always wanting to go out partying, etc.
I am a home body and always have been. It's where I am most comfortable AND all my stuff is here. hehe 🙂

As someone who's all about love vibes and relationship dynamics on Girls Ask Guys, I've got to say, this guy sounds like a homebody dream with a hint of spice! 🏠❤️ Who wouldn't love a partner who's considerate, cooks you dinner, and enjoys cozy nights in? The occasional weekend beer sounds pretty chill. Trust, respect, love, and affection are foundational for any relationship. If this guy can balance weekend beers with household chores, he's definitely waving some green flags! 🚦 Cheers to those dreamy nights in! 🍻✨

I feel like just because I’m already like that like I prefers to stay home and like not go out I would need someone that’s the complete opposite so that I do Go out sometimes, and I just think in general that opposite attracts to some extent, especially personality wise I feel like we would just complement each other rather than just be the same and boring. So me personally no lol

I recommend "Americano" aperitive, but not nightly and only with a slice of lemon.

I used to enjoy Whisky in tea as a kid, it does numb the pain of a cold. It's Sunday, go absorb the love of Christ and meditate on heaven, as good of a tonic as there is... letting go of all the damage for an hour. .

@lightbulb27 haha its Sunday and I'm at work!! But no plans for whiskey. Not today lol.
- 1 mo
You girls’ aren’t messing around with the whiskey lol , I am not much into hard liquor , but I do t mind having a shot or 2 of it , just hard liquor blacks me out of if I drink to much of it and I don’t remember the night before lol , With craft beers I just have a few and I enjoy the taste and the nice buzz I get from it , I don’t like being bombed , every once in awhile it’s fun if I am partying with a bunch of friends’ but I primarily just like getting buzzed so I can somewhat function and not forget what I did the night before lol. But my next girlfriend definitely has to like drinking or she isn’t the girl for me , I already had exes that tried raining on my parade every time I cracked open a beer , acting like I was an alcoholic for enjoying a beer or 2 , So she doesn’t have to like beer but she definitely has to not mind drinking. Mainly because I am a brewer and trying to establish a brewery with my brother and best friend , so if she isn’t on board with our passion of brewing , she isn’t the girl for me whatsoever lol

Yea I am a hard worker I barely drink during the work week , every now and again I might have a beer or 2 during the work week , but come weekends , I enjoy letting loose and having fun with friends’ , I look at it like I am rewarding myself from busting my ass all week. Now if there is something else going on that’s planned , I can easily go without beer if need be I just enjoy craft beers and love the taste of hops , So if that makes me an alcoholic , I guess I am an alcoholic lol An alcoholic to me is someone that can’t go without alcohol period , That drinks their faces off until oblivion then wakes up and needs another drink , I am far from being an alcoholic because I don’t wake up needing another drink , if I did , then yes I would be an alcoholic lol
Always wanted a guy like that actually. But so many guys get offended thinking that I'm insulting their masculinity or embarrassing them by thinking they're effeminate or something.
Most guys I've met are too insecure or angered to even consider staying at home like a stay at home dad or husband. I'd prefer it but realistically it's probably not going to happen.26 Reply- 1 mo
This is a surprise to me. Someone this young having a view like that is heartening. The whole feminist movement was about pushing women to move to where more men were and not push men back in to become the home maker and even BUILDER. I believe there a lots of men who would appreciate that kind of life if they were to be given a partner who's fine with them being the breadwinner while he did the home building.
- 1 mo
Ironic. Never personally ran into these men (except you @Finchie40) maybe I haven't made it clear enough how much I earn. It's already enough to retire 3 of me. Definitely not that popular of a choice anyway.

Wait I did mention that I work all week, so I am not sure the confusion? I am definitely not the kind of guy that expects a girl to financially take care of me, All I was saying is I am more of a homebody that enjoys going out sometimes , I like going out and doing things , but it’s something , I don’t need all the time , to have a good time , I am perfectly happy and content with staying at home and doing things around the house.
